Robin Garland was a model turned designer with stores in Sydney's fashionable Double Bay and St James's Arcade. She was a model in the 40's and 50's and turned to designing swimwear in the late 60's so although this dress certainly has a 60's feel, my fashion research leads me to believe it's probably 80's does 60's. The quality is superb and such a classic style it's so wearable and such a collectible piece from Australia Fashion History.
Fair preloved condition, some yellowing from storage on contrast white band, hard to spot when worn.

Vintage and Handmade items are provided with estimated sizes as some people prefer a tighter fit and some more relaxed. Vintage sizes vary so much so a size 12 may be more like a modern size 6 or could also be oversize and fit like a 16. Measure a similar style of garment in your wardrobe to see how this compares.
